So you know about the group and what we do, it's now time to meet the people behind this venture!

 Luke

Luke John Emmett - Artistic Director & Chairman

Luke works professionally in the theatre as an event technician, specialising  in  lighting  and  sound.  He  studied  for  a  BTEC National Diploma  in Performing Arts at  the City Of Bath College  finishing with a  triple distinction grade. After that he accepted  a  place  at  GSA  Conservatoire  in  Guildford  and studied  for  a  diploma  in  Stage Management  &  Technical Theatre. 

Since  graduating  he  has  worked  constantly  in  the local  area,  including working  at  the Rondo Theatre, Bristol Hippodrome,  Theatre  Royal  Bath  and  for  a  number  of different  local  companies  including  the  Natural  Theatre Company.


Previous  work  directed  includes  Murdered  To  Death, Goldilocks & The Three Bears, Aladdin, Cinderella & The Fastest Clock In The Universe.

 

Lisa Lisa Croker - Secretary & Child Protection Officer

Lisa  is  a  founder  member  of  Bathford  Youth  Theatre Ensemble. She  is  a  qualified  Life  Coach  and  says  “I  think  this  helps  to motivate  the children and help  them achieve  their  full potential.”


She  has  been  a member  of  the Bathford Players  for 2  years and  has  been  both  on  stage  and  backstage  on  a  variety  of productions.

 

George

 George Weeks - Treasurer, Props/Set Design  & Construction

George is 23 and has lived in Bathford all his life.

He attended The  City  of  Bath  College  where  he  did  a  GNVQ  in Intermediate  Art  and  Design,  then  an  AVCE  in  Art  and Design.

He  currently  works  at  The  Framing  Workshop  in  Walcot Street, Bath.

He has been a member of The Bathford Players for about 11 years. Over  the years he has been  in several productions and
he  has  also  co  produced/directed  Murdered  to  Death  and Goldilocks.

 

Nickie  Nicola Galloway - Graphic Design, Props/Set Design & Construction

 Nicola Galloway went  to De Montfort University, where she spent  3  years  studying  Product  Design.

She started as a Deputy Stage Manager (DSM) after meeting Luke while working on the Storm on the Lawn project in 2003
– she thought his job of DSM there looked interesting so joined the  Theatre  Royal  Bath  YPT  and  spent  the  following  year
learning the basics before taking on the job of DSM for Storm 2004.


She would  like  to  combine  her  product  design  skills  and  her love of the backstage theatre to become a Props Master.
